I am an accredited and registered counsellor/psychotherapist/psychotherapeutic counsellor, a supervisor and a mindfulness-based teacher. After an early career in law, I realised that my true interest was in working with people who wanted to understand themselves and their life situation more clearly. So I retrained in Edinburgh in 2001 as an integrative therapist and have been in practice consistently since then, offering short term counselling and longer term psychological therapy. My practice blends person centred, psychodynamic, mindfulness-based and transpersonal (Jungian) approaches. This means that I am interested in understanding you and your life now, how the past has influenced your present, and exploring the options you may have for engaging in your life in a simpler, more satisfying and sustainable way.
